Jon Hunt

Jon believes that planning is the key to success--in all aspects of life.

This belief led Jon to enroll in the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Certificate program, even while working as the Director of Business Development at the Florida Times-Union.

Likewise, Jon achieved personal success in the service of the military, rising from private to lieutenant colonel. He is retired with more than 29 years of service.

Jon's background in business management and in the military have prepared him to assist in analyzing the needs of those successful individuals who recognize the importance of financial planning in their own lives.

As a graduate of University of Georgia, and a long-time resident of Vilano Beach, Jon is married to Sarah Wood Hunt, former editor of the Water's-Edge magazine. Jon has two children, Cameron, who works at the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency in Denver, and Cassidy, a student (much to a Bulldog's chagrin) at the University of Florida.
