Litigation Support

An increasingly important part of our practice is litigation support. We provide preliminary case analysis, expert witness testimony, and trial preparation and assistance. We have testified in matters related to divorce settlements; economic damages in medical malpractice; professional malpractice in accountancy and financial planning; fiduciary misconduct; and investment suitability issues in the securities industry.

Matthew B. Bishop, JD, CPA/PFS, CLU, ChFC, CFP® is the chair of the firm’s Litigation Support Practice. Matthew is an expert witness in both state and federal courts regarding investment planning. Matthew brings a diverse set of technical skills and education to the table including:

• Courtroom presence - Credible and persuasive expert testimony which stands up to the pressures of cross-examination. Matthew has a law degree, although he does not practice litigation.
